I have recently purchased a CLK 320 registered August 1998 with a full MBSH. Since joining the MBC I have read a lot about the warranty covering rust, can anybody tell me (before I make a complete fool of myself and go to my local dealer) if my vehicle would be covered by this warranty/goodwill.

The warranty kicked in around 1998 and they have been known to fix earlier cars anyway. In short, any answer we give would be partial guesswork and even if it is covered, it will depend on other factors too, such as fmbsh and any bodywork that has been done on the car, so pop into your dealer and ask them.

You have asked the same question on 3 different threads. Rather than repeating the question numerous times perhaps you should refer back to the reply to your first post.
