Well, we've all heard about the rusting E classes, specifically W210's and early (pre 2004) W211's and C' classes, W203.... but ML's..... They were supposed to be rock solid!
Any ML owner out there having Rust problems? Mines 12.00 so please log your vehicle build date and troubles.
Im unusual in that my ML is in the Alps (ie. sub-zero, loads of salt and chemicals, off-road extreme etc) 6 months of the year. Ive just had a dealer perform a rust analysis and it was found that the drivers door had rust, and a section of the underpan also. A new door and reseal is to be payed for by Mercedes, so the Rust Warranty is really worth its salt!
I hope Im the only one and its because I use the ML as it was intended, off-road (I have taken children to school for 6 months :Oops: ) but at least 50% of its time its testerone pumping off roading!
