S 320 cdi water pump

Hi to all,
I have the S 220 320 cdi 51 plate that needs the water pump replacing.
I will do it myself, and if any one can offer information on any hidden horror's to watch out for or fitting instructions in general would be a great help.
The wealth of experience on this site is invaluable & much appreciated.
