S-Class COMAND SATNAV Connections

Trouble continues with SATNAV operation intermittent. There must be a loose connection between my rear screen antenna and the COMAND unit. Can anybody help with a diagram of the rear of the COMAND? Are the antenna leads using vibration proof connectors? How can I get access to the back of the COMAND unit - is there an easy way?

What are the problems/syptoms. There are several current problems with command and navi. If your problems are only Navi and it some times positions you in the wrong place it is probably the ariel itself (common fault) on command/navi put up position map, look at the top right hand corner of the screen " sat 05 " means 5 stalites are visible if this drops to zero you have a reception problem. Yes conections are secure on satnav ariel

Thanks for the response. I am aware of the satellite counter- when operational it is common to get 05 SAT up to 08SAT.

Dealer has replaced antenna twice, and sealed it to prevent water ingress! Immediately after this work, for a while the SATNAV works perfectly. It suddenly reverted to 00SAT and therefore I assume it is a loss of signal which means the system can't locate the vehicle. Strangely, the displey cursor moves in close approximation to actual vehicle, but is several miles adrift! The fact that the location is not entirely random (ie not Glasgow when I'm in Brum) suggests some weak signal is avaiolable. Hence my feeling that the connection was loose. Last week, SATNAV cured itself and worked pefectly for an hour, then stopped again.
Any other ideas? I'd like to check the connections myself, the dealer is a lost cause!
