Whilst on a busy roundabout in San Pedro the car cut out, a message diplayed read something like "....... not operable see handbook" The engine started again and ran correctly but the engine warning light was displayed permanently. The local dealer in Estepona connected to the machine and says it is yet another faulty sensor. The previous faulty sensor invoked emergency mode , this sensor cut the engine completely. The replacement part will be fitted tomorrow morning. Hope this cures the fault as it would be dire if the engine stopped in the fast lane of a busy motorway.
I had the "D" service (at 35k) carried out at the Spanish dealer, it cost £284.20 which looks reasonable, am I right?
