S Class Wing Mirror flapping in the wind

Hi

Need help again, the drivers wing mirror on my 2002 s Class320L Cdi is loose how can I re tighten it so that it doesnt flap about ?

Can I do it myself or do I need some special tool ?

I have sent you details of removing the cover and the complete mirror,,all you can do is to open it up and see what has happened

I had a slightly loose drivers door mirror (I have them set to fold automatically on locking). When I got round to trying to fix it, it had cured itself.

Try folding and opening a few times - it may solve itself.
