Hi, My 1998 E300td S210 has brust a hydraulic pipe. The problem has been caused by corrosion. Where can I by some pipe to repair the broken pipes. I thought it was just brake pipe but the front to rear pipes are a larger diameter than brake pipe.
Brake pipe is used for the hydraulic system after the load sensing valve but from the pump/fluid resvoir to the load sensing valve it's slightly bigger. I have measured the front to rear pipes a little under 7mm were as the brake pipe is a bit over 5mm.
Any suggestions on where I can obtain the 7mm (ish) pipe I need?

If they're anything like the ones on my W201 then yes, they are a bit thicker as they also have a steel wire inside the pipe itself. I'm not sure if this is for strength or any other reason, but know it's there.

I'd try Mercedes themselves initially, they have pleasantly surprised me with many suspension (and other) parts...

Yes. Got some of the right size, in copper, in the shed, anticipating this particular SLS burst.
I'll see if I can find you the dims or the link.
