I’m very impressed with them I was looking at buying a BM 5 Series as I like the ZF 8 speed auto but the the MB 9 speed is equally as good so will probably buy the S213

5 series is an impressive car. It probably does everything just as well if not slightly better than E class. Its probably cheaper as well like for like.

Having sat once in E class, everything else available around that price bracket feels so much dated. No point spending that money elsewhere and still be lusting after E class so E class it was

One of the draws to BMW for me is that I have Sytner BMW Leicester within 3 miles and a good BMW Independent a very pleasant 8 mile drive away in Lutterworth. I will in all probability buy the S213 as the current 5 series sports seats are awful, my son and I had one on test for a morning and both ended up with severe cramp in the buttocks how the manufacturer managed to put seats into production like that amazes me - he bought a W213 instead and loves it they are the best E class MB have produced in my opinion

I agree, I had a 5 series for nearly 2 years and never managed to get the seats comfortable. W213 was comfortable from the off.

I'm with Mr Bell, here. Don't like services done by someone who can't keep the digital record updated - they aren't MB specialists.

I’m very biased, obviously, but dotted service histories cause me a lot of issues especially unpicking what has and hasn’t been done over the years.

We specialists exist for good reason. We have access to DSB etc., Star Diagnosis and more importantly, know how to use it. We may charge slightly more than your average garage that work on everything and anything but they are not dedicated specialists. Having said that, I’ve found myself cheaper than some non specialist garages!
