S280 4sp Auto Box NEEDED!

A 25p circlip has just cost me the auto box on my 140 shape S280 - does onyone have or know where i can get a second hand replacement??

URGENT!!!!!

Any help most apreciated!!

Any 280 4 speed box will fit, and be OK - ish. So a 280 E from the same era (124) will be basically the same - There are slight differences between them - but not enough to worry about.

Try mercman in southampton for example. Theres a few mercedes breakers out there - buy a copy of mercedes enthusiast, and have a look in the back.

Where are you based? I might have one thinking about it...

ah -- no its a 722.2.. you need a 722.419

The 124 300 TE came with 6 variants. you would find it easier to get one of the same year. you can always give me the first 6 figures of VIN of your car, and I can tell you more.
