In previous thread I asked about pre and post facelifts - have now purchased a pre facelift 02 reg S320 CDi and am trying to determine which Sat Nav system it uses. Nothing in handbook to tell me. Can anyone tell me whether it is Navtaq or something else please.

That would be a Blaupunkt unit. Nav CD's are also available from www.teleatlas.co.uk. (TravelPilot DX)
I ordered 2006 version last Monday and expecting delivery in next day or so.

Thanks for that response Jay sorry for the delay replying have been away with my new purchase - I did not have the original disc and have 'forced' MB dealer, from whom I purchased the car, to provide one included in the purchase price- so I now have a 2006 disc thanks to your info and also thanks to Blobcat's question which made me think "why should I buy an 'incomplete' car"???

Good result!
I did buy my disc on special offer from Teleatlas. However when I finally received the disc it was not the TMC version and the sales person totally denied I had ordered that version. Eventually agreed to let me return the disc and replacement has now been shipped to me.
Ended up costing me more than if I had not waited for the so called "special offer"!
Next time I order anything from Teleatlas will make sure to confirm order by email.
Btw, does your disc have TMC?

Glad you now have the disc. There can be so much on our cars that it can be hard to check it all over.
If you have not already done so it may be worth your while checking your VIN No. in the attached site so you can see when it was delivered and what was in the original specification.
