I recently bought four new tyres for my s320, Pirelli P Zeros all round thanks to a good deal from a friend. The rears are 19 275 35 and have after 10K miles pretty much worn to the limit, the fronts however are fine and have a lot left in them.
As I have different sizes from front to back I would like to buy a harder compound for the rears now and get maybe 20K out of them. Is there any issue with mixing different compounds on the rear to the front and does anyone have a good tyre they recommend for long wear?
I drive motorway around 100miles a day so performance isnt needed, just longevity!
