S320CDi Bosch Wiper info needed

The wipers on my S320CDi (Y reg, 2001 model) need replacing and asked for a quote from the dealer I bought the car from and he quoted me £50 per wiper which is just ridiculous.

Does anyone know any internet sites where I can get them from? I did find one site but it had a load of different wipers for the S Class and was unsure which one would do - does anyone know the product code and the inch length it will require?

PS Anyone know of anyone in the NE doing alloy wheel refurbs? Ive got 5 spoke brabus style ones - the bolts round the rim are badly corroded as is the alloy itself - if anyone knows where i can get replacement bolts from even that would help.

I usually buy mine at local motor factors. Don't know if they do them for W220s or for my present MB (pretty sure they do)

They are made by Bosch and cost about 15 Euro

£50 seems a rip off. I buy too for about ?16 and the single W210 one is 60cm [24 inches] which is about as long as they come. I must admit I have never spent much more than ?30 for a pair [buy 2 at a time and keep a spare].

Not sure about the S, but with the E you have a choice - £25 ish for the wiper or £5 for the rubber (though +£20 fitting if you let the dealer do it!!). - Do they not do the rubber only option on the S?

Bosch wiper blades

Hi I have just bought for my SLK a pair of Bosch, super plus blades (one with spoiler) for £15.00 incl of postage (MB want £40 + Vat to fit on a service)from Autobulbs Direct & Ghost styling on E Bay. They were delivered 2 days later. Got a nice selection of bulbs too.
I didnt see a listing for your vehicle but they may be able to get them if you ask.

just get some RainX, i haven't had to turn on my wiper on for weeks (I don't know if it works anymore)

The faster you go the clearer the screen, in fact the more water the better.

I often look around and wonder what people are thinking, 'why is his wiper not moving...and how can he go so fast?'

LOL I have already got Rain X (saw it on an earlier post some time ago) but the wipers you need to use now and then.

I contacted Autobulbs, but they do not have any data on the S Class and have asked me for the size of the wiper blade - any ideas?

I bought a Bosch blade some time ago (never used it much). There was one 24" with a MB suffix. It seems like MB use a different centre point, if you catch my drift.

It's still better to polish your screen then rainx and then drive really fast
