S320CDI towing

Hi, thinking of changing my E300TD for a S320CDI, is there anyone out there who uses one for towing a caravan? All replies welcome.

When I was camping in Spain last year, the German next to us used an S320 CDI to tow a very large Twin Axle caravan - he said that it was the best tow car he had ever had

Sacrilege..!!!!!

I have towed many things over many years - I would consider NOTHING less than a 4x4 for towing - for peace of mind, security and safety considerations alone.

On THAT basis - it makes one wonder what his previous tow cars had been...
