S430 Engine Occasionally Stops

Hi, I have a 1999 S430 W220 and recently the engine occasionally stops running (just cuts out) after about an hour of driving (or when it reaches operating temperature 85C). When I turn the key to start it again, it keeps cranking for about 5 seconds, even if I turn off the key, but doesn't start. When I wait about 30 minutes (or when it cools down to under 80C), it'll start again without trouble. Would anyone have any ideas to why this is happening and what I need to look at. Thank you. Probably the crankshaft position sensor No5 in the diagram (stops when hot & won't start till it cools)

#3 for crank sensor, your symptoms as described are bang on and the 113 engine is very prone to this fault.
