SAM problem

Hi!

Does anyone know of a good auto electrician who could deal with a possible rear SAM replacement? Preferably mobile?

OK I understand that the flashing lights make it hard to drive,,do they flash when the lights are on.

I do have the same car hence my big interest in yours

With the engine running the rear lights don't work at all. Also, the rear indicators do not work at all. They are the only ones in the rear cluster that don't join in the light show when the engine is turned off.

Nice car; I will try and find a pic of mine.

The main thing you need is to get the diagnostic read out for the fault, the fitting of the SAM if it is that is quite staight forward

I had a guy out to my W124 the other day and he was fantastic found the problem that two garages couldnt, he has a company called Autoscan his name is Dave Foy on07866560478 he was very reasonable too, and best of all he comes to you, took him most of the afternoon to do mine and it cost me £100.00 including the vat. well worth it

I made an error in answering this post in that I said that blackC55 was the best in the UK.

I should have said one of the best in the uk and certainly the best on the South coast.

We have some good indies helping out here, and I am so sorry if I have offended anyone, people do get directed to those indies that help out here.

easy mistake Malcolm, im sure everyone will forgive you, i will agree, for the south, blackc55 is good and i wouldnt think twice of putting him forward, theres a lot of good indis out there but only good work and fair prices shows the good and bad ones!!!
