Sat Nav - Full post code

Hi,
Can someone please tell me if it is possible to have a sat nav for Merc that allows full post code entry.

I have a new E280 CDi Sports bought in March 2007. I have the telephone and Comand Sat Nav system. The current sat nav doesnot allow me to enter full post code, this is annoying as sometime I don't know the street name and only have post code.

No it is not possible, unfortuneatly.

This is because the Germans only have 5 alpha-numerics for their post codes.

Even so the UK post code -1 should still give you the street, just not the number block?

Becker do 7 digit post code search and they supply systems to Mercedes so they obviously Mercedes havn't ticked the options box.

I hear that there is a new version of the S/W coming that WILL allow full 7 digit postcodes.

I have yet to have this verified though.
