Sat Nav/Radio etc. Screen issue

Hi y'all

My E350 (212) has a problem with the dashboard screen. It displays fine but has two thin vertical lines (one red, one blue) running down it, about 2cm from the left of the screen. I think this means the screen's goosed and on its way out. The dealer I bought the car from says it's "Age" - maybe he's right. I can live with this as long as it lasts but I'm curious to know how this screen can be removed without taking the dash to bits. I'm also keen to know what might happen next, if anyone has any experience.

Post a pic of the comand unit. The screen is broke / related to age.
Once you post a pic, I know in older commands the screen can be replaced (not cheap).

It could be a bad connection to the board my W213 main screen failed within a year, thankfully replaced under warranty
