Hi everybody,
I have tried and only ever failed to use the sat nav voice control in my 2017 C220d SE. Has anybody cracked it and can advise how I may be getting it so hopelessly wrong please?
It’s the standard factory fitted infotainment system.

Hiya ,it's a long shot , this is on my car C350e I found out that the volume can only be turned up or down when it is giving you instructions. Maybe the volume on your car is turned fully down . Try guessing when there would be instructions given ,then turn volume up . Regards Tony

Mercedes w218 CLS63 AMG now gone, RR Velar
You have to follow quite the same steps like when you’re setting up SIRI on the iPhone, voice recognition repeating standard commands for different sections on your infotainment system (music, contacts, radio, navigation etc).

Thanks. I should’ve said my issue is VERY basic. I hit the speech button and the system understands my responses to the default options - when I wait for the audible beep I then say house number, street, city etc but it just doesn’t recognise any response I say - nothing whatsoever. I wouldn’t mind but I’m from the south with no thick accent :(

Sorry, I’ve only been able to get “take me home” to work on mine and then it's sometimes hit and miss.

Does it avoid motorways when you say that? :p

Hiya , I know what you mean now, I also have the same problem. My C350e sport . Cant find anything for speech recognition. It's frustrating. I think it might be common on Mercedes. I'll be keeping my open for the solution.

I think you have to do the destination in reverse order, so town, road, house number (if available)
