Morning all, so my 2005 CLS developed an SBC hold error some 3 months ago. Having read through this forum and others I awaited the dreaded SBC full error. However this hasn’t happened so looks like (fingers crossed) it may just be a hold error. Any ideas what could cause this in isolation?
Thanks in advance.

Sometimes minor gear selector module fault will cause the same.

Something I had in the 230, amongst many other faults and the only one I couldn’t get to the bottom of sadly , gear selector checked, steering column module replaced( sorted the flappys at least), SBC clock was fine, batteries replaced ...nowt
