Hi

I have an E220 CDI '02. My screen jets are very weak. Having read through as many posts I can find here and checked back on the car, I am pretty sure the tubes have come off behind the jets. Most of the water is flooding out from behind the near side.

However, I just cannot fathom how on earth you remove the jet block from the underside of the bonnet. I can prise it away and bend the plastic, but somethings going to break. There are no screws and can't see any lugs etc. Can anyone give me some guidance please? Much appreciated.

Thanks

Chris

This has happened to me also. I just pulled them off and reconnected the tube. Poor design.

They do have a tensioned plastic clip underneath holding them in place ..try gripping them and sliding them away from the windscreen and then lift the front end of the jet..they should clip out.. Be very careful with the hoses as the plastic jet will be hard and brittle so ill break easy.. we always use a lighter to heat the hoses before removing..

As Xtractorfan they are hooked in one end and are sprung the other, just forcing them out will make them loose
