SD map card, can’t get it out?

So guess the post title says what the problem is..the SD card is stuck in, I’ve even got a pair of pliers on it to try and pull it out, but no, it’s just pulls the hole around the card out (if that makes sense) the thing is, I’ve bought an updated SD card as I want to goto Germany later this year, the card that’s in the car works, but guess it’s out of date (2016 car) new card 2023..so in someways I’m not that bothered that I can’t get it out, but would like too, so any idea?..

Have you tried pushing it in a little? Some SD Card slots have a spring which releases when the card is pushed in slightly and pushes the card out

Have you tried pushing it down to see if it pops up. ?

Held in with a metal anti tamper clip? Hire & leasing companies sometimes fit them.

To all that have asked, yes I have tried pushing it in and no it just doesn’t pop out..anti tamper clip? Never heard about anything like that..that would explain why it just won’t pop out..any suggestions for how to get it out?

So as you can see from the photo, it did have a little black lock on it..removed with the above tools, just hope the new one works now..
