Sd nav card

Hi I've just purchased my first mercedes C class it's a 69 plate 1.5L AMG Line EQ Boost C200 the larger screen it didn't come with an SD card for the sat nav are these main dealers only or can I get one from elsewhere any help appreciated

That new you should be able to subscribe for the nav package using digital extras with Mercedes me, take out the monthly subscription or 1 year and the nav will automatically update over the air..Once fully updated you can cancel.

If that’s the case that will be brilliant I pick up 16th so will have a good research and a good play do you think I’d need a SD card doing that way? Or will it be straight to the navigation?

Make sure your local dealership change the Mercedes me ownership details as the car needs to be registered to you to purchase the digital extras.

I’m not sure a 69 car will do over the air updates. My 68 doesn’t and it’s the same platform as the C class.

My 2019 E class does, works very well, I think there were major changes between 2018 and 2019, you need the 4g module can check against vin number...

Yes, I have 4g module. Depends on the NTG system, GLC and C had NTG5*2 but that may have changed with the face lift
