Hi, I own a 380SL 1980 and want to refurb my driver and passenger seats. Possible re-springing and stuffing etc. Can anyone recommend a good supplier? I'm Peterborough based. Thanks.

Daimler; they should still be able to sell you the parts needed new. Check at a Dealership if they do, and how much, it should save money if you can supply these to a fitter because they will not have to invent something that might work properly. The factory bits will fit and have it like it should be. From memory Daimler were so good at making your seats that they made them in two options; one for people 90 kgs and less, and one for people 90 kgs and over. This was the case for the 124 series of cars and should be for yours too I would have thought.

Allon White Sports Cars in Cranfield do some great work.

Full disclosure; I used to work there as Aftersales Manager 6 years ago.
