Ok so I have kept convincing myself to keep the SL and now I have moved house and have no garage I literally can't any longer.

Can someone help me out with a price? I want to say its worth £4.5k? Am I kidding myself? It's 130k miles and near A1 condition but there seems to be a lot selling for literally nothing at the moment!

Also any advice on where is best? I know the usually suspects like
Pistonheads and Autotrader but any others?

As you can see I've been posting here since 2007 so I'm not a random punter trying to get a free ad!

I know you very well:D:D, please remember that a good 129 is worth more than all the others out there and I would advertize it for over £5k thats a nice car that you have there, unlike many on the market.

Mine was a good one when I had it when they were worth £15k on average but it sold for £17k

Thanks again for the help on the indicator relay! I did put it on for £5k two years ago and nothing. I think I'd accept £4k if it was going to a good home. Reluctant to try autotrader as I've never had any come backs from that but I don't want the time wasters of Ebay either.

Playing devil's advocate here, but if you want, say, £4500 but would accept, say, £3500 then that £1000 would rent a lock-up for 2 years and you could keep it a while longer...........jus' saying :D

Auto trader now wants £40 to advertise! Are they serious!

Has anyone had luck ever in the MB club magazine?
