Can anyone explain me the differance between an auto and semi auto on a C Class 2002 model

The auto box is a normal fully automatic box, where as the sequential box is a manual box with an electrohydraulic automatic change

Nice article Malcolm. As mentioned, Ive got the C220cdi Sequentronic and like it, but its not everyones cup of tea, so try one before buying. Advantages are better mpg, better acceleration and top speed and lower CO2, disadvantages are not as smooth gearchange and sometimes in Auto mode it can mis-read the road, get you in wrong gear and your out of the power band!
