This is true, although it could be said that they are more likely to grab your attention due to being different from the norm.
I had them on my previous car and thought they were great.
Having said that if the car does not come standard with them then I would not add them as a modification because it would seem like a cheap copycat move.
This is purely my own personal opinion and not a reflection on the quality of the equipment, which I'm sure is very good.

Yep, they are more noticeable which cant be a bad thing when it comes to lighting
