Serpentine belt.

I am in a right muddle. I have a Vito 109 2.2 cdi. It's 2008. My mechanic has taken the belt off and did not take a picture of the configuration. It's not a/c. Can anyone help?

Get another mechanic.... what a nonse.

Is there a pic in the owners manual. Otherwise try good old google images.

I didn't have an owner's manual, I've now ordered one. I knew I should've done the belt myself! Google is ok but an absolute mine field. I can't seem to find the right pattern for 7 wheels.I also think the supplier has given me the wrong belt! 6PK2263 is the belt I was given and the old belt is 6PK2260

Don't use cheap belts, I use Gates and they're cheap enough (a little over £16 for a 2213).
Maybe some one has the same vehicle and can provide a diagram, but there are variations.

I use chalk to draw a mimic on the underside of the bonnet sound insulation, but it can wear off.

Mrs Me is out in the 211, that is an om646 with a 2260 belt. If you can wait till this evening I can take a photo of her mimic.

Not sure this will be useful as it's the om651 6pk 2213 (no water pump).

I found this image which looks right. I have an idle wheel where the Aircon should be. The patterns all resemble this so I'll give it a go later.
