Mercedes A Class 2015 250 Sport
Hello, I’m new to car forums. But I thought this would be worth a try before I take a trip to the local Mercedes garage. I recently bought my A250 2015 22.000+ miles on the clock. I had the B5 service done but it seems they never reset it, so wondered if anyone knew a way I’d be able to turn this off and reset it. Thank you.

think it will probably need an MB scan tool to reset it , would explain why the previous garage never did as they didnt have the correct kit ?

Hello and welcome,

You had a service at Mercedes and they didn't reset the service indicator...
Take it back and get them to do it properly...
Yes you can reset from the cluster in most Mercedes but that's not the point here

What else did they forget !
Normally they stamp the book (electronically these days), wipe the oil filter and reset the service counter.

I guess they haven’t wiped the oil filter either
