Service History Book

I have had my new Mercedes delivered.
I don't find a service history book in the car. Are these now managed on line?
Will my car dash flash when servicing is due?

I could take £35/month for 36 months to cover the annual servicing. (Some savings to be made annually). That is £420.00 for annual servicing. That I presume cover the Labour,oil and filters. Am I correct?

Yes - all online
Yes - it will remind you (repeatedly...) it will also offer to call the garage to book itself in for you as well...
The service plans should cover all the required regular servicing (oil, filters, brake fluid, etc) - it won't cover items that wear out like brake pads and discs

When years in future come to part with a car, how does one go about service history?
Would there be from somewhere one could print it off?
Just curious.

You can ask for a print out at each service. Latter services show earlier services too.

Your history will be stored and accessible by any dealership...

And the central database history will be available. I have checked out all my used Mercedes history this way, even tracked down service history on my wife's Peugeot but only good if servicing is logged...

I think you can still purchase a “Service booklet” for £10 and get dealer to stamp it .
