I always like a bit of fraud before breakfast.

This is the 3rd post of yours I've read this morning and so far you're not giving the impression of an honest and trustworthy trader.

Anyway - advice .... Pass his number to your local constabulary!
(Though I suspect you'd have to take the 5th!)

I would ring the dealer who had stamped the book and ask them for it's history over the phone.
If I were buying your car with FMBSH, so you then might have some problems yourself!!
Leave well alone, as this could have a grave ending for you!!

there is a MB dealer stamp available on ebay. I was thinking of reporting to ebay as this is bad news for honest buyers when sellers "make up history" (i have noticed u can also buy new service booklets too

What a numpty

Every mercedes garage uploads service history records back to MB in the uk everyevening so in fact your service stamps are worth actually less than the cost of a second class stamp

It would in reality give the impression of a full service history, the same as removing miles from an odometer gives the impression that the car is less travelled than it is:shock:

Dodgy geezer. DO NOT BUY HISTORY. You have it or you do not, be honest when selling or it could come back to bite you on the donkey.

If I baught a car and found out the service history was a load of crock, seller beware. I have your address and will find you. I cannot stand being ripped off, lets be honest, will it make a differance to know that MB has serviced a car? Not to me, Id like to see a decent Indi stamp. anyday.
