Hi Guys, something quite odd I have noticed,
when I purchased my car 6 months ago the service idicator showed that "B"service was due in 7400 miles after driving around 1200 miles it showed "B" service due in 4700 miles, I had covered another 200 miles this was up to last week, now it shows "B" service due in 30 days!!!
I am confused, is this normal? I must admit that I do put my foot down a bit but it is garaged during the week so I just use it at the weekends (if the weather is reasonable) I rang my local dealer to ask if this was normal, I was told that the system monitors the oil in the engine and if this starts to indicate that the engine oil is braking down the service mileage will change rapidly. for the "B" Service I was quoted around £490.00 plus a Brake fluid change at a cost of £200.00 the car is a 1 owner BRABUS Converted 2003 SL55 AMG, has covered just 25,000, it has full MBZ service history!
I never feel i can trust these main dealers.
