Service Message Reset - I don't have a handbook

Can anyone tell me how to stop the service reminder on my E220cdi (2000 x-reg). Tell's me I have missed the b service by 100 miles and it's annoying me. I'll get it serviced as soon as poss just want to stop my car shouting at me.

Tried different ways to re-set it from the net but to no avail. I don't have a handbook for the car which apparently could help me in this matter. So please someone help me!

if you have steering wheel menu controls, turn on ign, go through to service date, hold reset button for 3 seconds, it should then say service reset? press reset button once more!
