Service records online?

I have the service book on a newly acquired CLK 220 and I am happy to say it shows regular servicing even at 94 k. However information on infrequent items like automatic transmission oil and diff oil changes is sketchy, the last auto box service done at 30,000 miles. Are these records entered online by garages, and are they accessible?

Any garage with the mercedes system ( star ) can log any service history onto the mercedes system. Electronic service schedule/sheet. ESS .

I have the DSR from new for the first few (6) years before it left North Wales, and it's useless. For a start the print-out is such a small font it's almost un-readable, and then, as I also have service invoices from the MB main dealer that supplied and serviced the car, it's obvious that the DSR is incomplete compared to the service invoices.

I make a point of collecting and collating physical invoices for my cars, to the extent of contacting garages showing in the service book for copies of old services, and it is a fantastic selling point when selling a car, especially privately.

Have you got a Mercedes Me account? If so, log on to the website (not the app as Service History doesn’t appear on the app) and service details are part the way down the page. No guarantee that it will work on your car but might be worth a try (assuming, of course, the services were done by Mercedes or an authorised independent)

I agree, and this was a major selling point when I bought the vehicle. The service section however is now full and the last entry was in the body repairs section. Mybe there is a way of getting new blank ones as I intend on keeping this one running at it's optimum and help at the time of re-sale.

There are some kind gents on here that can get your service history via your vin if you ask . You can then print off the info .

I believe you can get blank ones from eBay etc
