So for the last few months we have had Tim's SLS Black Series in our workshop. It was delivered to us as it would crank over and not fire into life.

I still prefer the SLR to the SLS and good to see that you made sure it was outnumbered the day Shmee visited ;)

Yup but that YOB number plate is awful (Even if it is the owners initials)

I have to be honest, I have so much emotional involvement in the SLR because I had a hand in building prototypes and then building 1000 of them that I just love it. I also love the SLS.

However they are 2 totally different cars. The SLS is much more nimble, responsive, aggressive and gives you more feedback. However it lacks the mechanical and aerodynamic solidarity of the SLR the comfort at low speeds together with such surity when planting the throttle or cornering at speed.

In short, I would have them both.

did you get it running again ?? I cant watch the link at work unfortunately
After a new Engine ECU and wiring loom it fired first time!
