^^ Yes or if the jack doesn't come with a decent pad, I find an ice hockey puck does the job nicely. They are very strong and made out of vulcanised rubber.
Hi
Where can I get one of these ?

Those Aluminium "Racing" Jacks have one very big advantage over the usual trolley jacks.. The lower to an incredibly low hight..
9cms on the one in the link..

Very good for the Boy Racers amongst us with lowered suspension.

I've got one of the Costco ones, looks identical to the one on EBay. Brilliant piece of kit, light and very low. Had it a couple of years now, I believe it was about £80 then.

I bought a nice 5 ton low slung trolley jack from the local tip for £10,,,I have been looking for a rubber something to place in the middle so thanks Silver Star for that.
I just use a chunk of cardboard, folded over a couple of times and placed in the cup.Works a treat.

I've a 2 tonne racing jack which I use for the Porsche, my 3 tonne heavy weight jack was just too tall for my W211. I used the racing jack to lift the Caravelle to put the winter wheels on and it did it with no issue (my 10yr old daughter lifted it as we'll) (I couldn't get to the big jack as there's too much in the garage at the moment)
