Should I go for a W212?

I have driven a 5 speed auto W212 cdi since September 2010. I picked up the car from Stuttgart and I can not fault it. Brilliant drive. Last year I drove to Berlin. Rock solid on the Auto Bahn. Even the Germans were impressed.

The car is refined and apart from early injector issues - promptly rectified by MB, Berlin and Bromley ( Berlin did not realise that Bromley had fixed it!) I have had no problems.

Cars with 60 plates have both 'mexican moustache' and straight line day running lights. Those with straight line have a more up to date system. Sorry for being so non-technical but I am not a techno.

Judging by the S class I've been driving today, a lot.

99.999 of the 7g boxes are very good and just so smooth, far better than the 5 g box,,, there were a few problems in the early days just like there was on the 5g and any other box or what ever

Must say my 7 speed box feels every bit as smooth if not quiter on the change than the 5 speed in my petrol clk.

Thats right, they are a lovely box

OK you have the plus version and even better,,,driving mine today I drove it slowly going there and booted it all the way home,,, faultless changes
