Whats wheels wud suit this looking 18/19" and also what fitment please?
You need 112 PCD with 12mm R12 head bolts though you could use wheels designed for M14 /R14 head bolts if you can find the special M12 R14 bolts.
Unless of course you go aftermarket.
I wouldn't personally go bigger than 17" on that as it will destroy the ride quality to go much bigger.
Have a look on alloywheelsdirect.net for wheels for an MB W203, but as LK said, don't go bigger than 17" unless you want a massive dentists bill - not cheap in Dublin/Ireland!!
Once you find the style you like, copy the spec (sometning like 7J x 17 ET45) and look on eBay or local wheel refurb compaines that also sell second hand refurbed wheels.
You'll also find that tyre choice markedly affects ride/handling quality. In my experience Contisports are hard and noisy, whereas Goodyear Eagle F1 Assymetrics give a very good ride and road holding/steering feel.
I have 16inch on my CLk. The difference in ride between 16 and 17inch is very little, tyres are around 30% cheaper and probably last longer.
The Adharaz wheel has always looked good as well
Wheels are a personal taste I would say
Ive had 19s on a few w203s no issues
Drove better. More planted. Less tyre flex. Transformed the car
Any pics of wat it looked like?
Ivw recently changed from lkaptop to pc and havent changed over files sorry dont have them on here
18s (sl55 turbine)
Multispokes always look good on anything IMO. Subtle and not subjected to abuse from people saying they look "chav" but are happy to run TSW hockenhiem sorry C63S style wheels on their cars now that Merc offer this style as an option on their Performance models...
But wheels are a personal taste
Alot of these google cars are lowered and tweaked hence look great
its not as easy as slapping on some big rims - but its a start!
A few of those look like the owners would be regular visitors to their dentist!
Don't they look bl00dy good
Parked in the dealers showroom they do look nice, 12 months down the line after 15k miles with potholes, traffic calming and concrete curbs they won’t unfortunately
I think if you go too big it ruins the proportions of the car.
Alloywheelsdirect have these wheels in W203 fitment if you want to part with close to £3k
Yes for some Bling Bling in the tooth area
These are Porsche Rims dont let anyone hear you say this (Brand followers are against cross brand part usage )
Reminds me of when I lifted the boot floor in my range rover and the door speaker cover to find the undersides stamped with VOLVO & FORD.
If you want to keep it standard looking how about searching for some W204 17" amg alloys, or 18" E class coupe wheels / 18" w204 wheels. Pretty smart looking Ronal wheels that Im sure was inspired design wise by other manufacturers wheels (remind me of jap cars).
The ones you said you liked are similar to a mercedes wheel design sl63 I think not sure what they came on but I call them triple spokes / split spokes there are quite a few Merc variations of that design
Separate names with a comma.
