Shuddering whilst driving

My 89 300sl as just had a new steering damper and the steering box adjusted . However I'm still getting a shudder like the car wobbles a little bit . Not as bad as it was but clearly something not right . Seems worse and I can feel it more when I'm coasting at a steady 25 mph . Wheel bearings seem ok . What else could it be ??

Tyres? Might have an egg in one

Nearly always tyres. Once you've eliminated them (by borrowing a known-good set) you can start on the "difficult" stuff...
