Hi Everone.

Has Anyone Any Idea What The Fault On My Car Might Be.
Clk 320 1998 ,the Engine Is Uneven On Tickover,i Have Replaced The Plugs,cleaned The Throttle Housing,
The Fault Code Reads Po173 Which Says Left Bank Out Of Adaptation Range?,it Also Gives A61 Which No One Seems To Understand,i Have Tried A Secondhand Air Mass Sensor Which Makes It Worse.the Eml Is Not On But The Code Will Not Reset.

IMO, most likely a lambda sensor fault on that bank, but also check for vacuum leaks or exhaust blowing at the manifold.

Get a new air mass that you know is good. It sounds just like that kind of fault. It always gives self adaption faults.

A bosch one from euro car parts is your best bet.

I'd agree if codes p0170 and p0173 had both been recorded, but with p0173 alone, my money is on the lambda!!

I expect to be proven wrong now!!

It depends what and who is reading the memory. Some live data intrepritation will be able to pinpoint it.
