As said it’s fairly easy to do and well worth it.I assume the trims are just stuck on and removing is simple?
Of course it's better without the chrome strip - thats why the facelift doesn't have it !
They are just stuck on, removing is simple'ish, i warmed the trim with a heat gun, then got some fishing line and sort off cheese cut behind the trim,
warming the trim as you go along, that's the easy bit.
You are then left with the two sided tape still on the car, i sprayed it with WD40 let It soak for about 10 mins
then got an old credit/store
card and scraped the tape off, it's time consuming but it works, and doesn't scratch the car, you are then left with just the glue ,
you can use WD40 again but I found petrol works better, then a good polish to finish off, sounds a bit long winded but it does work.
Now get the window surround de chromed and complete the look!
