Signals, intermittant wipers and hazards cut out

When the temperature outside is over 6o degrees F. My signals, intermittant wipers and hazards cease to work. I've had two shops look into this and they cannot locate the problem. They have checked the connections and grounds. This has happened probably 15 times. Any suggestions?

most mb's have all these functions on one relay - the multifunction relay - quite an expensive relay - like 40 quid iirc, and a known problem

does the rear window heater give up as well? it should be the same thing

Hi

Not so sure if I agree. Have you had the fault code read. Has the front SAM unit been checked. Most if memory servs go through the from SAM control unit item 53.


I may be wrong. But it does sound like something getting hot & open circuiting.

Thanks Andy. I think guy is correct though. It happened again on my way home from work and I checked the rear defrost as guy mentioned and it too didn't work.
