Silly Question, but need help quick

I've just bought a new blade for my Dad's C240, lifted up the unit *click-click-click* like a ratchet type thing.

Put the new blade in, but the arm is now stuck up in the air, how do I get the arm down, it feels like Im gonna snap it.

Assume it's a wiper blade your fitting?
Might need a bit of oil on the joint.

yeah wiper blade ill grab the oil

yeah just needed oil in the joint, I feel a little silly now, but it really felt like it was gonna snap

Lifting the blade can be quite daunting when it groans and resist lifting, the same when putting it back down again, many have asked the same question
