Once again Bosch have designed something to give income for life (for them) with the sirens,,

All of the batteries have a limited life span, so they are all going to go at some point, the batteries on this one kindly donated by member drmw is only a few years old, not have they only leaked one side, but the corrosion has gone all the way through the PCB to the other side, they will probably be ok with new batteries, but a hacksaw is needed to open them.

OK they could be sealed with plumbers pipe solvent

So you can all start saving your pennies

Just spotted this -amazing.
Didn't think NiMh batteries did that.

Makes you wonder where all the batteries from those so called 'Green' hybrids will end up

The same idiocy that made them put the even more delicate PSE pump in the lowest point of the boot and surround it with sponge

And the joy of the early cars where the water ran down the cable to the pump,The SLK cars got it worse in this respect

On the subject of Car Alarms ...............an Ex neighbour of mine (Who HAD to be different from EVERYBODY else) decided to "Change" his Car Alarm from the "siren" to a "recorded Message" .....bit like those ones on trucks that say "caution Vehicle reversing stand well clear"

So, he changes it to "blast out" "Help I'm being stolen call the Police" which was errr "great"..............................

Until one of the Sensors failed & he had to drive from Manchester to Blackpool with the car shouting out

help I'm being stolen call the Police

Everybody in the Close was Pi**ing themselves laughin when he got home!!!!!!!!
