SL 500 2002 abs problem

Hi guys, I’m new to the forum so please forgive any errors. my SL 500 has developed some abs Esp service brake and battery codes, I first of all kept getting these codes coming up and after clearing them would be ok for a while then the car wouldn’t change gears as it had 5 fault codes. I have replaced the rear wheel speed sensors on the rear, which my snap on modus ultra said it was. The fault still won’t go. I’m not getting any voltage on the cables from the car to the sensors with the ignition on. Not sure if there should be or not. Can anyone throw any light on this problem. Not many sunny days left this year to get the roof down and my sad SL is sat on the ramp thanks Tony

Maybe another diagnostic kit will clear them? Such as ultimately Star or ICarsoft MB2

did you check the pick up ring for the sensor was sound ?

Hi guys, thank you for your replies, I did think about the pick up rings but not sure how to check them without taking them off, is that possible ?. Started the car yesterday and all lights gone off. Drove it for about half a mile then the abs light came back on and wouldn’t change gear. Started this morning light still on, but changing gears ok, it’s driving me cracker for

the abs module perhaps.
i had this fail on my w220 this year. similar age to your car.
not cheap and need programming to the car.
