SL 500 ABC problem

my SL 500 (2002) has been displaying ABC off and on for months. yesterday the message turned to red and the front end has lowered down to wheels. could this simply be leaking fluid ? lloyd

If this is a leak, then you should see oil patches on the ground under any of the 4 corners, alternatively there will be wet marks under any of the 4 spheres.

If you start the car does it go up again, the cars can sink when there is air in the system putting on the Red warning lamp

Look closely at the NSR arch, just in front of the wheel. This is a common place for leaks but the fliud is held in the sill mouldings & doesn't leak on the floor for ages.

Would this be the pipe that connects one side to the other, I know that they go on a 215
