SL 500 dent in c-pillar

A strange crease has appeared in the offside c-pillar of the roof of my SL. No scratches on the paint, no obvious sign of mechanism stress or contact, anyone else experienced this?

I presume that you are talking about the new SL500 and not the removable hard-tops on the previous versions?

If, so, maybe something has stressed the roof when being opened or clsed? hard to tell without seeing it. But, if it's a new SL, then it should be a warranty issue.

Yes, new SL. Have to take it in for the brakes recall anyway so I'll get them to have a look. Just wondered if a common problem...

No chance it caught something in the boot or someone forced something in when it was down??
