sl 55 suspension level adjustment

just wondering if i can change the level of my suspenion by using the STAR sysytem. i have an sl55 and wanted just about 15-20mm taken of the height.....i have seen modules on ebay but cost 1000+ pounds!!! so under the impression it is all electronically set.. thanks

I would not do it, if you got a ABC leak or fault and one corner went down you could badly damage the body work

ouch!!!! as a matter of thought, if a fault( eg..leak) developed on a 'non molested' car would that cause any damage to the body worK?

What they do not tell you on these car is, if parked up for long periods always have the wheels turned straight ahead.

I f you leave the wheels turned and the suspension went down on that corner it will take the wing with it.

When I lost my fluid and the dash goes red, warning that the car is low,I have got home, but I constantly checked the clearance of the tyre and body

Even with factory fitted ABC if the system leaks and drops its potentially damaging without care. Have seen front wings splayed out in a terrible mess over the years!
