There are 2 sensors on the rear suspension and 2 front.

It can be leveled on STAR, the correct height is 70cm from the top of all 4 wheel arches to ground

You have a fault with the rear valve body, We are seeing a few of these now, most times a strip out and full clean of the body and full oil flush with a new filter cures it!......

the car was pulled from the back when recovered from a watery grave and it affected the ride height,i cannot see any of the suspension rods bent,do you think this might be the cause of my rear end grinding noise

You can go into STAR and set the ride height if it will, but it could have a broken link or the valve damaged as Colin said

R230 SUSPENSION

HELLO, I FORGOT TO MENTION THE CAR DOES NOT HAVE ABC SO THE RIDE HEIGHT CANNOT BE ALTERED ON STAR,I BELIEVE THE ACT OF PULLING THE CAR FROM THE REAR HAS CAUSED THE SUSP.TO RISE ,ANY SUGGESTIONS ,REGARDS MIKE

Thats a pretty big thing! The wrong springs have been fitted at some point possibly.

Odd this one, the height should be 70cm from the top of all 4 wheels arches to the ground

Have you tried the specialist finder, I do not know any where you are :(

Only the springs affect the height, you have 30 and 40

That sounds pretty bad, are you near wheels in motion? They are very good for anything suspension related.

Unsurprising if it was dragged backwards from a watery grave !
