SL rear fog lights

Just doing some last checks before warranty expires.
Can some kind soul advise if both rear fog lamps on 1999 SL500 should work or just offside, as my rear nearside isnt yet bulb ok and no bulb out warning on dash?

Mercs only have one rear fog light, dont worry.

Thanks guys, I had changed the bulbs over from near to offside and the 2nd filament worked in offside. So why a two filament bulb in the nearside????????????
