Any advice on how to remove bird droppings from the perspex window please. Also, any advice on how to prevent the perspex from being scratched when stowing/stowed? Thanks. Ed

a well washed tea-towel or old sheet

placed over the screen when you fold it away does wonders for the preservation.
Soak the droppings with a wet cloth on them for 20-30 mins and they should come off ok. If not, soak them for longer. If that doesn't work, try a bit of car shampoo on them and repeat the soak.

As my mother would say "don't forget to wash your hands". Bird Flu paranoia and all that.

If the birds dropping have marked the plastic, this polish will remove it, and make the windows like new.
